Salvation Army Angel Tags
We will have 25 tags available on Sunday, November 15th. One difference this year is the only clothing items requested are PJ's, coats, socks, or winter scarves/hats/mittens. Fifteen tags will be reserved for church members who attend service in person on November 15th; ten will be reserved for those who are worshipping from home on Zoom. If you are remote, please call Esther Wolfram at 610-945-4385 for your tag on November 15th. First come, first served either way! All donations are due in the Parlor by Sunday, November 29th. That's only two weeks to do your shopping.
A team is being organized to seek suggestions for the following ideas:
1. Financial ideas to strengthen and or cut on budget.
2. Long Range Planning for the growth, vitality land future of St. Luke’s.
The Team is being spearheaded by Bob Keyser - all suggestions must have congregant’s name attached to
the letter and can be turned into our Suggestion Box.
Missions Committee is getting back on track in January 2020 with regular monthly meetings and events. Yeah! If you'd like to assist, please let Melanie or Kathy know. We are a creative and fun bunch! Your participation doesn't require a whole lot of time or effort. Plus, doing good for others just plain feels good, doesn't it?
A BLESSINGS BOX
We will be initiating a Blessings Box where you can donate a monetary gift for a Blessing you have had in your life. It could be a blessing that you have each week or a blessing that came to you all of a sudden and you would like to be thankful for the event. The monies will be placed in an account that at the end of the year the Council will designate where the funds will go; someone needy or to an organization that is doing good for the community.
