WOMEN’S BREAKFAST
Join us on June 13th at Spring Ford Diner at the round table at 9:00am. TUESDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDY
Everyone is welcome to join the Tuesday morning Bible study. We meet at 10:00 am in the Parlor, and coffee and a snack are provided. Our next study is The Twelve Disciples. It is a 6-week study. Jesus called twelve ordinary men—and turned their weaknesses into strengths, their faults into testimonies, and their doubts into faith. Who were these men who walked with Jesus? What can we learn from their lives? Find out with The Twelve… We will begin this study on May 14. You may choose to participate in-person, on-line, or on your own time. You may order your own book, or you may contact the office and one will be ordered for you. We’re looking forward to another informative and lively Bible study and are excited for you to join us. A BLESSINGS BOX
We will be initiating a Blessings Box where you can donate a monetary gift for a Blessing you have had in your life. It could be a blessing that you have each week or a blessing that came to you all of a sudden and you would like to be thankful for the event. The monies will be placed in an account that at the end of the year the Council will designate where the funds will go; someone needy or to an organization that is doing good for the community. |

A team is being organized to seek suggestions for the following ideas: 1. Financial ideas to strengthen and or cut on budget. 2. Long Range Planning for the growth, vitality and future of St. Luke’s. The Team is being spearheaded by Bob Keyser - all suggestions must have congregant’s name attached to the letter and can be turned into our Suggestion Box. Thank You. ATTENTION HOMEBOUND MEMBERS!
To all shut-in members at home or nursing homes, and families of the same, please notify the church office with the best day and time I can visit. I have been unable to contact several of you so this would be very helpful. I look forward to seeing you!!! |
